I think its nice that we can see the evolution of the song, makes your appreciate the time and effort they put into making the final product. Also some of the lyrics of Blank Slate are this version.

How many versions of this song exist?Now i now this one,album version,virginia ep version and 29 years from there first album is also kind of another version.I feel like this song has some greater meaning to the band.
