HOW did they get everyone's hair to look almost identical in that band? It almost looks like they are wearing wigs!!

But wait!!!! There's more.......the lyrics!!!! Who was writing stuff like this in the mid 60's!?!?? "Masculine Intuition"?!?!? Or, the lyrics to their big hit: "Talk Talk", those lyrics could've been written by Kurdt Cobain!!!!

Forgot to mention how they tuned their guitars lower to sound "heavier" (pre-dating Black Sabbath), the whole "one Black Glove" thing (the "anti" Michael Jackson?!!?) they all dressed in black, even the Bass Drum head was black!!! They even dyed their hair black, had different time signatures, it goes on and on......these guys were penalized for being too forward thinking!!! Also the "soul" vocals with the fuzz guitars....just beyond belief.....

It is truly amazing and and yet very sad how incredibly AHEAD OF THEIR TIME The Music Machine were!!! You can hear "New Wave", "Goth", Iron Butterfly, The Doors, post punk, a bit of metal, etc. in their music. Amazing.

First time I have heard (seen) this song. They really should have had more airplay than "Talk Talk" gave them. I dig their originality to the covers and their own songs. Maybe their recording company and manager screwed them. Peace.

One of my all time favorite songs and I adore my vinyl recording of this album. This song has the most ironic lyrics and I just love it. Thanks. Greetings from France via the USA.

The best group of the sixties

"Talk Talk" was a smash, unlike anything on the hit parade at the time, & the album had some good cuts, like this one. They looked & dressed different, had some unusual guitars & basses. Very tight, tough group. Cheers, '62 Mathew St. (Total Retro Rock)

Ummm... I think you missed the (humorously intended) point of the 1st line of my comment by not reading the 2nd. Not to worry. I'm not going to enter into a childish slagging match with someone too lazy and impetuous to read more than five words. Enjoy puberty.

They each only wore 1 glove ! A quote from Sean Boniwell to a puzzled Dick Clark on American Bandstand ; "The Glove is for the group, the other hand is for the individual." "Ignition" on the sundazed label enlightened me to what this band was capable of. Still one of my favorite bands of all time!
