We are The Mrs., an all-female band from Austin, Texas. We recently asked women how they felt when they looked in the mirror. As you can see, we didn't like the answer, so we decided to help change it.
"ENOUGH" looking in the mirror with such a critical eye.
"ENOUGH" of that negative voice we hear in our heads.
"ENOUGH" letting the world tell us who we should be.
The Mrs.' debut single, "Enough", was written to help women see themselves with a less critical eye, and realize that they are "Enough" just the way they are. Instead of creating a traditional music video, we opted to do something unconventional: take our message directly to the women who inspire us.

As sad as it is that is mainly men on this comment board being rude. However we are ALL responsible for making women look at themselves critically. We are ALL responsible for for buying into the idea that it is right to value societies idea of female visual perfection over every other characteristic. We use excuses, we are worried about people health (weight fat or thin), it is about presentation (women of colours' hair or make up or high heels), protecting them (skirt lengths, spaghetti straps) It is getting worse not better, young men are starting to feel the same pressures. We need a complete change in our priorities. We all need to decided be the voice in the mirror for one another, male or female, strangers or friends and loved ones.6 years ago
