Track 4 of 10.

The fourth and final album from The Move, Message From The Country is widely regarded as the band's best LP. It was released in October of 1971, while the band was making the transition into the Electric Light Orchestra.

At this point, only three members of The Move remained, they are Roy Wood, Jeff Lynne and Bev Bevan. Roy Wood takes credit for the cover art yet again.

This is my favourite album by The Move. The title track is my favourite song, with The Words of Aaron coming in at a close second. Do enjoy this lovely album!

Hm. If someone told me this band influenced the sound of Kansas a few years later, I'd believe them.

eihän koskaan erilaisempaa tai älykkäämpää musaa arvosteta Suomessa eikä ehkä muuallakaan mikä on kornia ja väärin.

Words of Aaron my favorite. Great tune. Would love to see a remake.

Was about 17 when this came out. Started playing my '65 Thunderbird non-reverse with a pick when I heard this! Never could get that great Roy Wood bass tone...Look at the video of this & dig how they aligned the fender Jazz pick-ups on that red jazz bass. this bass shows up in a video of a tv show video.

Power Rock Jeff Lynne. The Move had certainly transformed him. Prefer his pop style of the Idle Race, it was very Beatlesque, rather than bombastic.

This brilliant album was a bit uncommercial to have a commercial success. Though it had fine melodies, the sound was a bit too experimental to the major audience to understand.
