Most of Johns' works are simply incredible. IMHO he is quite talented.

Weird al is actually a really smart guy. And talented. Musically and comedically. He doesn't sound like him, but Al ain't nothing to stick your nose up at.

Weird Al is awesome, you be crazy. But I don't think John really sounds like him.

I'm loving this stuff, especially lakeside view apartments suite. I reckon this album really polishes the stuff that wasn't quite right in Life of the World to Come and All Eternals Deck; which I still loved, but this one already feels like a step above.

The progression of TMG is I - V - IV - I

You're kinda ignorant. :p There are multiple guitarists who play guitar as a percussion instrument, such as Don Ross, Jon Gohm, and Andy Mckee.

The progression of TMG is really interesting. Going from stuff like All Hail West Texas, Coroners Gambit, Devil in the Shortwave, into We Shall All Be Healed, Get Lonely, Sunset Tree, Life of the World to Come, and All Eternal's Deck. Such a massive change in audio quality and instrument variety, yet it still keeps that "Goatish" atmosphere. Really remarkable.

I'm seeing them up in Baltimore a few days after the album release. I'm shaking with anticipation, and come October, I'll be in a trance for at least a month.
