i had a gierlfriend some 200 km away. and i could not blame her disobeying holy oathes that i never kept. and then there was martha on the screen. and she made me cry. a call came in! we are expecting a helicopter delivering some stranded souls from the north sea.

Very LA band - possibly the best. First song I heard was "Celia" also from their 1st Album and another classic. They really caught the atmosphere of the late 70s early 80s LA perfectly. Interesting that echo680 saw them in Manchester where I'm originally from.

Thank you for posing this ! What an excellent band ! I saw The Motels at Manchester Poly soon after this was released, when I was 16 ! - really happy memory of my teens- great gig , wonderful company ( hi Siobhan :) ). This track was one of the stand-out moments - always liked the guitar solo at the end, I think it was very original. Thank you so much for posting this !!!!
