In 1999 I saw the drummer jump from the stage onto a heckler who kept calling the singer “Kramer,” like from Seinfeld, haha, and catcalling for him to close his mouth when he was playing. Being a real dick but it was funny, too, because he did look like Kramer and the mouth thing was a little odd. But the band was so good, so unexpected, that the crowd was with Mooney all the way.

Actually, I'm pretty sure I saw in a music news magazine that The Strokes were currently in studio. I also enjoyed that album a lot and it's hard to believe that what he's coming out with is as good as it is.
