I grew up being a Monkee fan!!! Never missed an episode of their show...I Love She Makes me Smile cause of the "cartoon" cause it has Michael wearing the hat plus Davy Jones in the cartoon even though he is no longer with us....totally awesome!!!! All I can say is good job boys....you all couldn't done it any better!!! Can't wait for the next cd?? You can't stop now!!

The lyrics are ridiculously childish. However, the instrumentation sounds like that old psychedelic pop of the late 60s, and the vocal delivery is amazing. Mickey sounds like he's hardly aged and he can still hit high notes like a god. The surviving guys really came together for this, props to them. However, Rivers Cuomo really should've re-thought the lyrics for this.
