Can't quite find a video that really does any justice to this song since the first time I heard my big brother play the record. The Mission are a VASTLY underrated band here in the states, among many other of my favorite British bands! This is 1 of my favorite songs of theirs, & I hadn't even heard this 1994 version! I love the original from the album Children & also The Casbah Mix.

The Mission - Schisma von den Sisters. Ich mochte sie meistens, auch wenn die "späteren" Sachen reichlich poppig daherkommen. Aber: wer sie einmal in den späten 80ern oder frühen 90ern live hat erleben dürfen, der weiß, wie gut sie sein können. Ein Freund sah sie letztes Jahr und war sehr positiv überrascht."Tower of strength" jedenfalls ist ein Opus. Schade, dass es hier gekürzt ist, denn gerade der hypnotische Aufbau ist so extrem kraftvoll. Klasse. Klassiker!

I remember , in the 80s The Mission was in war with the sisters of mercy. Some people said they were a copy of the sisters.. However, this song is just great and i am so lucky to own the mini-CD with the 9 min. version of this song...
