i find it funny how everyone knocks on their talent because they are slightly sloppy live. 1. they have the most progressive music out there, which along with 9 musicians playing different parts, it's hard to mic it all correctly, and for them to play it as good as it is in studio. and they deviate occasionally from the studio version because music is a way of expression, and at times, it changes. so to anyone who says they aren't good, you should keep to yourself, or stop watching mtv, you tool

the volta sound is fine. when you watch these shitty youtube vids the sound will suck but when you are at the concert it's alot better. when i seen them live i could hear everybody and everything.

I question the "intellectual prowess" of anyone that has to verbally abuse people that don't share the same view. It's a sign of weakness, ignorance, and inability to put together a compelling argument. I'll give ya that--the first time I ever saw em live was when they opened for RHCP and it was in a huge stadium. The sound was horrible and you couldn't tell what the shit was goin on. But in this venue where they were the headlining band, the sound was mixed pretty well. It was still chaos, but glorious chaos. The sound quality of the video doesn't do it justice.
