Ageis, Dyslexicon, Molochwalker... those 3 could have been released as an EP... The rest of the album could go fall of a cliff for all I care, cant listen to it without feeling like its turning me gay... LMAO.. Too much sweetie pie Cedric crooner turned Eric Clapton.. But yeah those songs rock hard

A 'diamond-in-the-rough' prog-rock song from an otherwise mellow album. If only more of this song sounded like the last few moments do (3:03 onwards). Even Dream Theater would be jealous of that ending. Classy.

Moloch does love surrealism.

"What's more, the lyrical content and melodies are applicable to so many different emotions and situations.... they've become an all-purpose tool within their art. It's ridiculously good, in every meaning of the phrase." Yes!... their art is dynamic, conditional, multi-ordinal, and--unlike most noise from their contemporaries--doesn't involve fixed identities as crutches. They deserve their own genre -- 'aural surrealism'.

Truth, therein lies it's glory. Bands could survive on unpredictability alone if 90% of them cared to try, but Volta takes that and makes everything so musically complex, while maintaining a sound you can actually sit and listen to. What's more, the lyrical content and melodies are applicable to so many different emotions and situations.... they've become an all-purpose tool within their art. It's ridiculously good, in every meaning of the phrase. I'm a life-long fan.

The wonderful thing about 'controlled chaos' -- it isn't ever the same!

Amazing. The same controlled chaos Volta's always been known for.
