supposedly, goliath was the spirit that came to them via the "soothsayer" (think something akin to a quija board) they had when making this album. many of the lyrics concern what the board was telling them...and apparently, tons of unfortunate things started happening after using the board....eventually they buried it an undisclosed location....how rock and roll!!! love this group!
