Director:

The Mansfields "Frankenstein Twist" became a hit when Little Steven Of HBO's Sopranos and Bruce Springsteen's E-Street band declared it "the coolest song in the world" on his Halloween show in 2009. Since that time, the song has become one of the most played songs on The Underground Garage radio programs inluding DJ's Handsome Dick Manitoba (The Dictators) and Andrew Loog Oldham (former Rolling Stones Producer and manager). The song has been touted by Garage Rock celebrity Drew Carey as being better than the "Monster Mash!" Released on The album Cramp Your Style (Gearhead Records) in 2008, it has been a fan favorite from the word go and a staple of the bands live show. The Frankenstein Twist can also be found in Scare Zone the Movie.

Some how it was cool when Lux crossed dressed in the Cramps. I feel that this singer is definitely influenced by Lux interior. The style and the sound for sure.

@JayneDistortion This is pure Rock 'n' Roll? Yeah, in an era where pure Rock 'n' Roll seems to mean looking like a cross between teh Dolls and the Backstreet Boys and doing nothing original at all. Seriously, how many bands are actually out there doing their own things these days? Not many, Rock 'n' Roll was about change, so was Punk, it was fresh, original and always on the move, "Horror Punk/Rock" has been stuck in the gutter since the late 80's.... now its just a boring teen fest.

@JayneDistortion The difference being that both the Cramps and the Dolls took their influences and made them into their own sound, both distinct and fresh, this Mansfields crap is just generic and boring, I literally knew what it was going to be like before the video even started. I can't tell the difference between this crap band and a thousand other crap emo bands who wear socks on their hands and hug eachother a lot. Thanks for having the decency to press "reply"...oh wait, you didn't.

@JayneDistortion If you're genuinely 40 then why on earth do you have 41 written on your bio and why do you conduct yourself like a 15 year old moron? I don't believe you're a day over 9 years old but if you are then you're an embarrassment and should be ashamed of yourself, haha. I'm entitled to think this band is bland, generic and doing absolutely nothing different from the genuine bands who started it apart from royally fucking it up in a teeny bopper way.

I might add that you Gilbert syndrom are entitled to your Opinion just like the rest of us, but if your gonna start making smart ass remarks over a band who was PURE ROCKNROLL all through the emo 2000's, get your fucking facts together at least. Incidentially, The Dolls and Cramps were NOT NOT NOT doing ANYTHING different. The Dolls were another version of the stones, The Cramps were the Sonics and other garage suff mixed. It's called homage thats why they were great NOT reinventing the wheel

ooooh my dear GIIIILBBBERRRRT SSSSYNDDDROME, at first I thought you were just a retard with bad taste, now i realize i was giving you too much credit. Here's some facts for ya mr "I saw em back in the day." first off my age is 40, so I also saw em back in the day. Second, this band has existed for over 15 years and at one point had a drummer from...THE CRAMPS look it up. Third, bands like demented are go and the Vibrators have raved about The Mansfields, I trust youve heard of these bands

@JayneDistortion I suspect you're a 14 year old little brat, with skinny jeans and an embarrassing hairstyle, the fact that you saw my comment and imediately went to my page to see what I was like before you replied says it all really, you're an idiot. You don't know shit about me kid, and you clearly know shit about good music.

@JayneDistortion This is about as rock 'n' roll as a vegan soya festival. This is bland, typical and half assed. What the Cramps and the Dolls did was different, I can turn on any TV channel and hear this crap from any band, half assed song titles like "i'm a cool vampire.." What do I know about rock 'n' roll? Enough to know that this isn't it, haha. The fact that you judge me based on my profession and my hobby is typical, I saw the Cramps in 88' and it was real, this ain't. Get a grip.

haha Gilbertsyndrome, you gotta be kidding me. Your page with all this shit macho boxing crapp ass on it haha. what the fuck do you think you know about rock n roll? this isn't horror punk or psychobilly, the mansfields have NEVER claimed to be that at all. They aren't a bunch of kids or some NEW band trying to find an identitiy. obviously this IS rock n roll/ punk straight up. The person that HEARD the New York Dolls in this was right on the money. The Cramps would be proud, this is awesome

@Shaguar97 I think Horror Punk died a slow and painfully gay death.

@GilbertSyndrome That's not what I meant. I meant that I actually liked this song. So what if the singer looks emo. It just adds to the craziness.
