This was one of my absolute favorite produced recordings (and albums) of all time ... was interesting to see Manhattan Transfer adapting to the disco craze of the late 70's (I say that with all sincere admiration -- you've got an artistic jazz vocal group adapting to the culture of the time and still creating a fantastic artistic creation) -- Alan Paul doing his Rod Serling imitation and Janis doing her usual great lead vocals (with Tim and newbee Cheryl (jumping in for Laurel) doing their great thing as well -- that ENTIRE album rocked) -- AND... the JAY GRAYDON MULTI-TRACKED GUITAR "INTERLUDE" has to be my favorite guitar "solo" of all time (as well as the overall production of the album -- I always wondered why Graydon didn't produce more of their albums after this one). Sad to hear the news of Tim, but Tim obviously did great things while he was with us. Long Live Tim.
