THE RINGWRAITHS' THEME, a theme for Mordor, is often defined by singing taken from the source text, The Revelation of the Ringwraiths. This theme uses a strong, staccato rhythm on the first and second beat of the measure. It is used exclusively with the Ringwraiths except once, in the prologue.

Three Mordor Accompaniments, the Descending Third Theme, Threat of Mordor, and the Mordor Skip-beat, are often used as ostinatos to the Ringwraiths' Theme.

I like to play this when I'm driving down the road and I'm angry! Really makes me feel like I'm one of the nine.

Like all ghosts, the Ringwraiths fear water. Why does no one go to water in ghost movies? Oh crap, they were by the stream in Blair Witch Project and look what happened there. But the Ringwraiths are also frightened of fire, light, and exposure. They only seem to use darkness, cold, poison and intimidation. Even Aragorn basically says "Flee to the city folks we'll be safer there!" Specifically speaking I'd say Ringwraiths aren't ghosts, they're Revenants, solid Undead with intelligence. Watching this with Melanie Raine/India Summer porn images is somewhat epic actually

"What do you do when there is an evil you cannot defeat by just means? Do you stain your hands with evil to destroy evil, or do you remain steadfastly just and righteous even if it means surrendering to evil?"A paradox; for either way, evil remains.

I like to hear this playing Skyrim, when I'm riding Shadowmere through the night in pursuit of my contract.

To me, the Nazgul are the pinnacle of what a horror villain should be. They are an unstoppable force of evil that can only be driven away in very specific circumstances. They are driven by a will of pure malice. Their very presence inspires fear, the sound of their screech alone caused the armies of Gondor to cower. And worse, unlike most horror villains, they do not always simply kill their victim. If you are stabbed by a Morgul blade you become like them, forever bound to the torment of undeath.
