La Marcha Imperial de Star wars es una cancion de cuna comparada con esta monumental pieza orquestal que refleja el horror de Mordor.

Tolkien was a British soldier in WW I not II

Depends on your point of view who the good guys were. But Tolkien was British, which means he would have fought for the Allies. So I would think that he wouldn't see the Central Powers were the good guys.

you are talking out of your ass. In several interviews, Tolkien explicitly states that lotr was not meant as an allegory for any real world events. Besides, he fought in WW I, not WW II. And in WW I the Central Powers were the good guys.

Mordor has plants

I thought Mordor was looking far too bright and green in this scene. The cloudcover was white instead of black/grey, and the entire scene seemed too bright to me. And there were quite a lot of plants. Don't get me wrong, I love the scene, but I think it could've been filmed better.
