Personally my favorite doctor who song, My friend said once... Oh you like doctor who? And I'm likeYah why? Then he said that he knew someone who liked it more and then I said why do I care? And he ignore pd those four words and is like to everyone else huh she likes doctor who more. And then that gets me competitive well does she listen to doctor who music? Play doctor who games? Read doctor books does she know how many doctors thier are? And then he says yah all 11 and then I go..... Technically 13 and then he's speechless and then I say so the twelfth is an old man and technically the eleventh doctor regenerated again but kept his form being the 11.5 doctor and then he says well you have a doctor who book but you don't listen to doctor who music and I say yes I do my favorite is called the long song and he's like stop singing and I go I'm not even singing and you guys don't care do you?

Anyone else think they should've had all doctors and companions (for long and short times) still alive sing this instead of actual singers. It might not have sounded as good but it would've been good, especially because the episode was based on memories.

I swear, the more I learn about this episode, the more incredible it is. Mat Smith's era may have had it's share of horrible episodes but this one is definitely not among them. One of the few episodes that lets us look past the front he puts up for the people around him. We finally get to see why he's been acting the way he has since he regenerated. He views life as a burden, each loss pushing him closer to the edge. Lets not forget that this episode happens relatively close to when Amy and Rory died. It's the closest to suicide the Doctor has come since the relaunch and if not for Clara, it would have succeeded. Meanwhile the lyrics of the song are constantly prompting him to take a hold of life instead of throwing it away. How fitting that this song should also play at his regeneration, when he is finally ready to take the good with the bad in life and fully embrace it. THIS is where Matt Smith's Doctor truly shines.

You hear the music and you think of the sadness of the doctors life BUT this song is about The God AKHATEN it reminds you so much of the doctors life not only in series 5-7 but all of the whole series This song makes you feel sad but also happy at once it's hard to explain a wibbly wobbly timey wimey kind of thing. Then at the end of this video the doctor tells what he's been through to save the universe

I remember when this first came out, I loved this song. I even remember when season 2 with David Tennant came out. I feel old, I miss old doctor who.

Every once in a while, there should be a surprise...like the Doctor walks up to the glass box and the monster breaks out and says, "Aw, c'mon! Don't be afraid of me. Those people over on that other asteroid singing at me 24/7 are just a bunch of nutters. So c'mon and sit down and I'll make us a pot of tea..."
