@Petfal I listen to and play everything from Jack Johnson to Pink Floyd to The Cure to Necrophagist. My musical tastes certainly aren't narrow. Just this genre and dubstep I don't think I will ever fully be able to appreciate as art of any form haha. I'm open to any genre of music if I can just sit down and listen to the music without cringing like I do when I hear this. Vivaldi brought beautiful music to the table. I can't see a single thing that these guys brought. Sorry, I just can't stand it

@Petfal No, I really DO know what musical value is. I'm a musician. This could be played by somebody with severe downs syndrome. Granted the drummer is alright, the rest of them should not call themselves musicians. Listen to Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons or to Winter Madness by Wintersun. That's music. Then once you have heard real music and understand what something other than power chords and shitty yelling is, then listen to this again. You will find it is something quite different.

The locusts music is genius. People who don't get it are too close minded. Even I barely get it. All I know is that it takes a genius to put together a piece of music with so many rhythms, tempo changes, intricacies, etc.. It's amazing, makes me poop my pants.
