how can people see this song as disrespectful? bands have been writing about events in the news since the clash and before. its called social awareness, bands are INSPIRED by the events and to write about them. seriously people, if you dont like a song, dont listen to it

Your opinion IS misinformed. You think they're making fun of the Dunblane Massacre, when they're actually raising awareness. This course in basic logic has been brought to you by A Guy Who Is Obviously Smarter Than You.

In response to tinylove, the specifically mention Dunblane in the lyrics, so yes, it is about the Dunblane Massacre. In response to elbooz, you miss the point of the Living End if you think they are making light of the situation. This is a band who are very socially aware. This isn't making light of the situation but bringing it to the public's attention, as a lot of punk bands have done. Listen to the lyrics and the delivery and you'll realise he is not.

There's just something about the rockabilly rhythm of this band (and use of the Gretsch and double bass) combined with their Aussie-ness that makes me very, very happy.

please tell me you know why this song was made, it was based of the dunblane 1996 massacre (google it, please) and show support.
