Why are so many people bagging on her? Sure, she could have added some more of that classic Ursula-flair that we all love, but I still think she did a fantastic job, nonetheless.

Sherie is so talented, but that costume is …? They should have painted her skin, or at least pinned it together in the back. It looks very low budget up top, even though the tentacles and sleeves are superb. But overall it looks off-broadway at best

A high belting soprano. An interesting choice for Ursula. I find her voice very charming and that she is working very hard to be a villain. This role is a pure vaudeville type. Lots of words and a jaunty number . It is very tough to pull that off these days. I think she did a 7.5 out of 10. But really she is not a large earth mother with a deep manish sound with a expert vaudeville style is she? i think if that was cast the role would be overwhelming on stage. But it would be a very expensive performer to hire. Kathleen Turner comes to mind. If she could sing anywhere near as clearly as Scott that is. With perhaps a deeper tone. Brava Scott. It ain't everyday a pretty blonde legit belt high singer has to play a over stuffed wicked fish witch !
