This comes from after 1942. The banjo could Marvin "Smoky" Montgomery. He was a key figure in the band from 1936 on.

@danpolicarpo Forgot to say. Pappy was W. Lee "Pappy" O'Daniel. When he was governor, we called him "Pappy" O'Daniel.

@danpolicarpo They were a household name. I'm telling my age now. The Lightcrust Dough Boys was formed by W. Lee O'Daniel to advertise his Hillbilly Flour Company around Ft. Worth, Texas in about 1931. W. Lee O'Daniel became governor of Texas in about 1939. He sang with the band. The band later became Bob Wills and the Lightcrust Dough Boys. We sat around the radio to listen to the W. Lee O'Daniel show when I was very, very young..
