I was about 11 years old and my parents had friends in east Tennessee who'd sent them an 8-track tape with some gospel music on it - It was The Lewis Family.This was the first bluegrass song I ever heard, and I'll always remember it - clear as day - I heard Little Roy's crackin' banjo.. and those three girls with that killer harmony, and all in perfect time... and I'm telling you, the lights went out and the rockets went up, and I was Hooked.This song was the inspiration for becoming a musician.
