Knights of the Western nations have gotten replaced by the Cult of the Damned. lawyers are pretty much the Cult veteran members, while the congress are their puppets, and the Cult masters... live in other "countries" (yeah. "live" )

i know, but 1year ago, but fun fact: hans zimmer has a huge composing team, so crediting him alone is just wrong. I do like most of his pieces, though they resemble each other alot

Ten years since I first saw this film at the cinema, with this wonderful soundtrack. Having already studied a little Aikido, the very authentic fight scenes (with excellent Sanada-san) caught my attention as did the idealism of the central Algren character, able to find peace in a culture that truly resonated with his values so far from his own country. Well, I've lived in Japan for four years now, and lost count of how many times I've watched Last Samurai. This track still gives me chills :)

Well Pearl Harbor battle scenes had Japanese in them.

While applying a band aid to a wound I felt that my knowledge of band aids was extremely limited. I began doing extensive research, but the more I studied, the less I felt I knew. Finally, I took what I had learned to a band aid specialist at wal-mart and was shocked when he asked me how I knew so much about band aids. Thumbs up so everyone can know how much of a boss I am.

And yet the music in the battle/action scenes from this movie isn't much different from the Japanese music in Pearl Harbour.

This was the saddest and most depressing movie that had Hans Zimmer made a music score
