Bizarre how these guys made sh*t pop records and at the same time made some of the most legendary ambient music known.

I have an electronic copy of The Manual so if anyone wants to "sample" it to create some original material PM me and I'll send you the file. It's a very entertaining read.

The book is called 'The Manual-how to have a number 1 hit record', I'm not sure if it's still in print because the 1st print of it is about £100. An Austrian band used it and had a no1 record in Europe.

The Club Mix of Madrugada Eterna is slightly different from any other version I have come across. Anyone could shine a light on that?

The KLF are great(perhaps once of the best tranceacts of the earlyer 90s) crissida is sweet, and wanda has had wonderful boops(sorry) and ricardo as well as ricardo were been good features! jajajaja

S*Express got to Number 1. Also I've never read any interview where Mark Moore mentioned this. He was club DJ and producer on the cusp of the burgeoning UK dance scene so fairly natural for him to make a sample heavy record. However Edelweiss - Bring Me Edelweiss were two Europeans who did follow The Manual. I think they only got to 4 though and I've no idea if they got their cash back.

Their book was called something like "How to come from nowhere and get a number one single - or your money back." The band S*Express were broke with no record deal and operating out of a room somewhere, they bought the KLF's book and followed it. They got to number two in the charts but as they didn't get to number one they got their money back! True story.

That remix was called Madrugada Eterna (Club Mix). It was about to include on unreleased Madrugada Eterna single.

I would very much like to read 'The Manual' if nothing else, unfortunately on amazon at least I'd have to pay £70 for it o_O
