'Face To Face' is my fav Kinks album! Nobody uses the Harpsichord in rock music anymore!

The first two bars are why I love Rickenbacker basses. They simply purr like kittens.

Generic melody and lyrics with some harpsichord thrown in. Big deal.

I like She's Leaving Home better. It's more poetic and I like the music better.

Predates and in my opinion better than She's Leaving Home.

A very heartfelt song, and for good reason. My favourite track Face To Face, tied with Little Miss Queen of Darkness.

Typical Kinks satire. There's Mick Avory banging away on drums- carries the song.

There were 6 older sisters, not 5 - I think Rosie was the one who moved to Australia. I've got a signed copy of XRay too - best Rock Bio ever written with NO Ghostwriter involved - it is set in the future :-)
