I agree! As a major Kinks fan I feel very sad when people think this band was only Come Dancing or Lola, when they were/are SO much more.

they always released the wrong songs for singles I think. This should have been the single .. not How Do I Get Close. UK Jive would have done well too. I've often thought that about kinks albums.

@gonzogringo Yep, my personal favorites are How Do I Get Close, Bright Lights, UK Jive and Entertainment. I don't know if they're on Youtube though.

Why is it that, songs like THIS, are so good but yet never get ANY recognition. As if You Really Got Me, Lola and Destroyer are the only songs Ray wrote that are worth anything. This song is brilliant. Kinks fans will know this though.

Another classic Ray Davies song, just about sums up this planet at the moment. I'm waiting for this song to turn up in an advert of film soon.
