Great clip. For the record, they are lip-synching to their record. I don't know if this was the band's decision, their management (probably not, as they abandoned the Kinks on this tour, right as it ran into problems), the promoters/producers, or the AFM.

This is recorded in '65, not '66 (maybe that's the broadcast date?). They were about to get banned by the AFM from a gringo USA that does not quite understand what they are doing (yet). Many youngsters got it, though, and a new white American suburban teenage rock angst is about to be born (the Doors, Heavy Metal, Punk, etc).

ví a Kinks n Hammersmith Odeon seria en el 72 por primera vez,..en un GLOBAL TOP OF TH POPs para mi sigue estando IAN HUNTER y luego todos los demas..le dije en Barcelona hace meses cuando actuó en APOLO que un puñado de sus canciones son mucho mejores que todo lo de Dylan y su midWestern Rithmn& Blues'..MOTT perdura y perdurara...tambien T.REX su epoca acoustica 68-72 solo... salia con una chick' de Jo-burg loca por Marc Bolan aun la recuerdo..
