I loved...loved ...loved the Kingsmen back when Johnny Parrack was the first tenor. That 'Big and Live' recording is one of the all-time best in gospel music!

when is this from? Because I see Mark Trammell playing bass for the group. He went on to a great career with the Cathedrals, Greater Vision, Gold City and the Mark Trammell Trio/Quartet!

When they did this song on Big and Live, Nick Bruno was at the piano. I remember them from the NQC in 1973. They came on with this song at about 2AM and woke the place up in good shape. Later inn the same set they were joined onstage by the Speer Family.for "The Dearest Friend I Ever Had." Ah, memories...it's all I have left and the only time I ever saw the Kingsmen live. Not much Southern Gospel going on in New England.
