One of the most extraordinary songs that I have heard in my life. It encourages me each time I am downcast.

I Love this song so much. One of only a few that can touch my soul every time. Absolutely beautiful.

Dedicated to everyone who suffers from imposter's syndrome: *May your limits be unknown**May your efforts be your own*----*Don't break character**You've got a lot of heart*

I'm on my final year of high school and this song literally calmed my anxiety down. I was so nervous about what lies after high school that i was losing sleep and i was terrified to go to school, i couldn't even look up at the teacher. I went to school as a nervous wreck. Thank you so much you have no idea how much this song is helping me

Be stillAnd go on to bedNobody knows what lies aheadAnd life is shortTo say the leastWe're in the belly of the beastBe stillWild and youngLong may your innocence reignLike shells on the shoreAnd may your limits be unknownAnd may your efforts be your ownIf you ever feel you can't take it anymoreDon't break characterYou've got a lot of heartIs this real or just a dream?Rise up like the sunLabor till the work is doneBe stillOne day you'll leaveFearlessness on your sleeveWhen you've come back, tell me what did you seeWhat did you seeWas there something out there for me?Be stillClose your eyesSoon enough you'll be on your ownSteady and straightAnd if they drag you through the mudIt doesn't change what's in your blood(Over chains)When they knock you downDon't break characterYou've got a lot of heartIs this real or just a dream?Be stillBe stillBe stillBe stillOver rock and chainOver sunset plainOver trap and snareWhen you're in too deepIn your wildest dreamIn your made up schemeWhen they knock you downWhen they knock you downDon't break characterYou've got sooooo much heartIs this real or just a dream?Oh Rise up like the sunAnd labor till the work is doneRise up like the sunLabor till the work isRise up like the sunAnd labor till the work is done

It reminds me of when I was deployed and all alone. I'm all alone again. If it wasn't for my music and good songs like this, it would be very hard to make it.

I love the line that says: "May your innocence reign." I had a boyfriend who was a huge player ( yeah, I know.) Whenever things did not work out between us, he would boost his insecurities by fooling around with lots of girls and go out partying. Obviously this hurt me pretty bad. Meanwhile, I would be at home, studying. Listening to this song, knowing good and well what my gut was telling me he was doing. "May your innocence reign." "Don't break character." "Labor till the work is done." Needless to explain, this song has helped me put my jealousy behind me, and do my own thing <3 stay strong

Reminds me of putting my kids to bed when they were babies. I've just sent this song to my now adult daughter so she can listen to it when she puts her babies to bed at night. I hope she loves this song as much as I do. Amazing !

Damn I love the killers. this song helped me calm my anxiety the night before a big job interview. I didn't get the job but I was grateful this song on repeat helped calmed my mind and stopped my heart from beating out of my chest.
