I've always loved this song since I saw the JB perform at Ling's Forum in Weston Favel (Northampton) in about 1983. I bought tickets for me and my girlfriend from a guy in a captain's hat at the entrance. I've always remembered this gig as one of the most enjoyable I've ever seen - particularly from a band I'd never heard of and we'd only gone too see them on the strength of liking Bauhaus - David J was performing with this 'unknown local act'. Later realised that Pat had been the 'front of house' ticket man. 31 years later my then girlfriend from Northampton is my wife. Our kids have just accompanied us to see the JB Lounge Quartet at the Lamplighter in Northampton in July 2014. They loved it - being musicians themselves (unlike me). Please keep going Pat and 'Max'. Can't understand why your talent hasn't received much wider acclaim.

Should this be read as a "Southern Mark E. Smith"?

Cool tune... I can hear some Talking Heads influences in there.
