@Austin Casey-the biggest insult is that I doubt any of the Inkspots descendants are getting royalties for this great music...Fail No. 2

@Austin Casey-many dont get the tie in of the games background to the music. The music is ironic-it is,soft and lilting, but its also tragic and sad. The story line is about a failed society scratching on its past to go forward. A past thats an illusion. Sadly most just think it makes the shooter game hip...Gen Y fails again...

I first heard this song because it was available on the New Vegas Nexus as a mod to change the opening menu theme in Fallout New Vegas. It's rather catchy and mellow. You don't hear this kind of music anymore. You probably never will again. All and all, a very relaxing song WAY before my time.

How is finding out the name of a group I liked in a modern game and then searching for more music from the same group not "looking deeper"? I will never understand music snobs, apparently you love the music so much, that you shame people for discovering it the wrong way. Hmmmm.....

Not bad. I'll probably look up some more of their music.

Well youngster it doesn't matter how you discovered them as long as you and others had the fortunate circumstance to discover them....im sorry to say I don't even know what fallout is...but if this group was on there then fallout has good taste...he he...Their work with Ella is absolutely fabulous too...and my gosh how tall is Kenny..wow...

I have to disagree on some level. No one who was first to be exposed to The Ink Spots through a video game has really become a serious fan of The Ink Spots. They say they are but I bet they couldn't name all of the original members like they could their favorite current rock band or what have you. It hasn't created a real "deep" interest in the group or the music. It just creates more of an interest in these video games. I am glad to share this music however and to expose people to it!

I must agree that the internet is a great source for people who are fans of this music. Without it we wouldn't have near as much of this great music and many of these songs might have been lost forever.

It's probably their first exposure to it. I'm pretty sure, playing fallout is when I first heard the Ink Spots. And thanks to the internets, you can find more of their songs and more of this style of music.

Oh don't get me wrong :P I'm happy some people still care *See what I did there :D?* But then theres the group of people who 'love' the Ink Spots but only know that one song...It might be a great song but there are so many great songs from them :D I'm just saying they should listen to the rest :D But think there is one truth here.... Fallout and the Ink Spots are pure and glorious victory!

HEY. I played Fallout, and I loved the music AND I looked deeper. Now the Ink Spots (amongst others) have become pretty much my favourite thing in ever and like you, I could listen to them for days BUT I wouldn't have discovered them for a long time if not for Fallout. So get off your high horse, dude - be happy Fallout is enabling more people to appreciate this fantastic music :D ya!

Why do people only seem to associate this music with Fallout?
