I have a CD of this complete show "Live Reunion" recorded at the Painters Mill Music Fair July 10th 1982. There are 20 tracks in total with all seven members present. The cd is produced by Bootleg Booze Records and has a bar code 1890814447 if that helps anyone looking to buy it.I will try and post the entire show in a week or two because I know what it is like to be able to see or hear a concert or tv show you witnessed long ago.I was lucky enough to see David, Eddie and Dennis in Canterbury England just a couple of weeks before David fatefully returned to the USA off of their highly sucessful UK tour.....For that I am eternally gratefull. They was one of America's top bands of soul singers Indeed! It seem every decade their after quality music somehow went to more hype and less talent.

The Temptation will always be the group who could sing those love songs to a lady.I am not sure if there is a group that can now sing to ladies.Everything now is about sex.

I was just singing this song some hours ago. TODAY is the first time that I have ever heard this Live Version of this song......Just yesterday I was just telling someone that Ruffin was the greastest male vocalist of all times and that one should take into account that he first enterd the recording industry when he was 16 or 17, and I said that to say that through out all the years of his habits and his drinking and smoking, till his departure to the otherside; his vocals never left him, he only got better as the time moved forward, his range only exspanded.....God Loved Ruffin, The Creator Never allowed Ruffins Talent and abilty to decay. The Lyrics of This Song are Beautiful and glorious as well, a True Classic of cource....Thanks for posting this.

To dream ... the impossible dream ...To fight ... the unbeatable foe ...To bear ... with unbearable sorrow ...To run ... where the brave dare not go ...To right ... the unrightable wrong ...To love ... pure and chaste from afar ...To try ... when your arms are too weary ...To reach ... the unreachable star ... This is my quest, to follow that star ... No matter how hopeless, no matter how far ... To fight for the right, without question or pause ... To be willing to march into Hell, for a Heavenly cause ... And I know if I'll only be true, to this glorious quest, That my heart will lie will lie peaceful and calm, when I'm laid to my rest ... And the world will be better for this: That one man, scorned and covered with scars, Still strove, with his last ounce of courage, To reach ... the unreachable star ...; 7 ]

Pssh, wrecked it? What the hell are you listening to? Sure ain't this song. Cuz David sang the hell out of this song, just like he did everything else, thank you very much.

I FEEL THE SAME WAY!! I just can't LISTEN to anything without DAVID LEADING. Although I like DENNIS,I never excepted HIM in the group. He just seem to lack that THING that DAVID had. SORRY!! THAT'S JUST ME!! CLASSIC TEMPS FOREVER!

I agree with you 100% about watching the post-Ruffin Tempts. I thought it was just me who felt that way. Don't get me wrong, Dennis is a soul music icon and a legend in his own right. But he ain't David. If only....

GREAT recording! I WAS THERE for the 2nd show added on Saturday night in Chicago. Spent rent money to get tickets when it was announced! The local station, WBMX, did a simulcast, so I KNOW there are tapes somewhere in the world of the entire show!

Just lucked out..posted some songs from a rare Eddie Kendricks solo performance and someone was kind enough to send me this show as well. This was my favorite performance of the show. If you're saying that another exists I would absolutely love to hear it!
