Thanks for the clarification. I learned about the move to Wantagh shortly after posting the comment. Nice to hear from you. I haven't spoken to you since the 90's when you were doing a gig in Jersey

@PJDooWop We started the group from Wantagh. We all moved to long Island from Brooklyn but we got together in Wantagh. We had great times on Long Island and NYC. Great memories, thank you for all your support. Yours Frank Mancuso.

We all came from Wantagh Long Island. That is Bobby Bloom singing lead. I sang lead from 59 to 62. Bobby , Phill and I swiched leads. I left the group in 4/62 and the group went on till 63. It was tragic what happened to Bobby. I feel that we would have gotten back together in our golden years. I miss Bobby. Yours Frank Mancuso.

I always thought it was suicide. The official report is that he was accidentally shot in a scuffle involving a woman. The other man was never identified lending to the suicide possibility.

Actually by the time they recorded-1961- they had moved to Wantagh, Long Island. Bloom died in 1974- reportedly suicide.

Great tune. This is actually the same Imaginations from Brooklyn that sang Goodnight Baby, Guardian Angel, Hey You, etc. Bobby Bloom (later on had a hit with Montego Bay) was singing lead. Yes, this is a white group. Bobby Bloom sang with a ton of soul it surprised the hell out of me when I found out that this was the same Imaginations. I love the flip side of this record as well.
