Phil may have if he had the option, I suppose we will never know. He may have joined a different band, I think being a frontman suited him well.

They lost it in 1979. Human league was continued after that only because Phil needed to pay of the record company. Phil is a nice fellow, but not the brains or the soul of the human league. The band has had a perpetual identity crisis for 30 years now. Phil's strength is in New Wave, which I would desperately like to see him return to.

Very nice work.A pitty that HL didn't make a video for this song.I think that there's something wrong with their 'bosses' in Wall Of Sound couse 'Egomaniac' was a single only for three countries.Also i have a feeling that they didn't invest a lot in Human League's presentation for singles and videos.Well,maby in a future...

i almost bought this album few months ago without hearing any of it. i should have bought it, its good. was bit disappointed with secrets album , too many instrumentals, but this is good
