Brian shows real emotion and isn't generic when he sings. Unlike what you'll find on the X-Factor where ever singer is generic and sound the same and singers go through based on their sob stories and image. For me, Fallon's song writing is why he's one of my favourite artists. This may come as a surprise to such a narrow minded person like yourself but I don't enjoy Taylor Swift's repetitive song writing where every song seems to be about her high school boyfriends.

William Hung, im sure u remember him if you follow any public media outlets. If u had closed your eyes and listened to each note, he actually CAN "carry a tune in a bucket". This guy we are currently having a discussion about cant. Yes. I agree with you in reference to the amount of heart and soul he pours into rasping out the the words. Very amazing. But he still cannot carry a tune.
