I'm reluctant to get "nuts and bolts" about a song that's mostly about emotion/lyrics but, as nice as the guitar solo is, I've always felt that it was very out of place. It's almost as if if switches to another song for 16 bars. :-) And what's with the odd key changes?! Yes, it's a good solo, but is it really for this song? I suspect they couldn't come up with a middle eight. It breaks up the song nicely, but that's what middle eights are for. :-)

This is a great, sweet song: evocative, fantastic melody and singing, etc. I'm very surprised it hasn't had more views on here, but I suppose that's because it wasn't a single in many countries. It gets a fair bit of play on the oldies' stations here in Australia. It was number 1 here, so I dunno why it wasn't a single in other countries
