Another beautiful cover by The Hollies. The original was sung by Smokey Robinson & The Miracles in 1963.

@stevenwrigglesworth I'm sorry I had to cut it because this was the only way to use this song for a video.

Love it - But where's the first split second of the superb drum intro?? It's needed! Pedantic yes, but forgive me as I am a poor drummer! Mr. Elliot still plays with expertise, feel & charisma.

Bobby Elliot is great on this cut, one of the best drummers ever.

it's a new different twist on a great song! Don't compare it to the Miracles and you can enjoy it as being a cool tune!

I think this is a better version than the original by the HOLLIES Its not motown its Manchester sound.

I like the Hollies when they sing their own stuff..I mean nobody can sing Carry Ann or Bus Stop like the Hollies but the Hollies singing Mowton is an awful joke...white people can not sing Mowtown!!!!!! and this proves it.

It's a 'Beat Group' treatment. It's different. And Bobby Elliott could drum with the Funk Brothers. Thanks for your brilliant input though.
