Jimmy Sacca is fine singer. I can see how the way he expresses the last syllable would be a distraction. But I think it's what makes him unique. To me, he is trying to express the words clearly and with good enunciation. It lends a deep feeling to his music.

At that period in time the performers didn't need the drum to keep the timing. The music came sweet and clear without a beat, just simple melody. Modern people want to denigrate it but those who were there know best.
