i was such a vocal detractor of this disc when it came out--owning every album they've released, and believing versus to be the standout favorite--but i've given into the fact that even if they don't make brash and brutal metal, they make great music. this disc is certainly no exception.

@Skaldicgoth People saying bad things about this album either A) missed all the albums between here and the Marco Aro era (which is sort of an understandable shock) or B) can't/don't understand anything beyond "chug chug CHUG chug chord chord CHUG-FLOURISH-squealie chug chug ROAR". Seriously. I mean, sorry more people can't be bothered to listen to something *slighty* different than what they EXPECT. Besides, have they forgotten the Dead Eye? This is the first worthy successor since.

i dont understand these poeple who say this album is pure shit, i mean come on, a band cant play each album each song the same fucking thing! this is evolution, if you like it or not, i still enjoy the songs cause they are more slow than usual and that shows me another side of this great band

What a great session...It's good to hear influences through their music...the only thing that sucks about the haunted is the track by track vids with Dolving...dude needs to let the listener gain meaning from the songs...I could care less what dude thinks...save the preaching for a cult Pete...

@MrDeathmetalruler You can upload whatever you want, i don't care. I used to love this band since i was 15, but i really can't stand this... That's why i'm so disappointed. @Ponzodie Commersial? Don't bullshit me, nothing about "Unseen" is commersial and I like it as much as their debut album. I am ready to bet that this album won't sell at all. Sure, there isn't so much screaming, or double bass, or thrashy riffs but this doesn't mean it's pop. Songs like "The Skull", "Dissapear" and of course "All Ends Well" are worthy songs which I'm glad came out so we can enjoy them. Why don't you enjoy them too? Or you prefer to bitch about them "being" commersial?

Im pretty sure you guys would get sick of playing thrash for 20 years straight. Thats why dolving has his own folky acoustic bands. It means as a musician you always keep a fresh approach to your music, and it's pretty obvious the haunted are good at making fresh approaches. They've done it all through their careers. I saw these songs live last night, they were pretty intense. Bjorler said to my friend they were dissatisfied with the mix, but the album is meant to be played live.

@1Min3 It's just weak alt rock that got boring in the 90s. But this band was always low tier, like a baby's version of At The Gates.
