It only sound vaguely similar to me. And, while the beginning of the song might be somewhat similar in sound----the last two minutes of this song sound like nothing I've ever heard before, and it's simply spectacular. Listening to some of The Go Find's other tracks, I'm amazed at how well thought-out and incredibly layered and deep the musical score here is.

@laurabradley94 And if The XX is inspired by The Go Find, I'd say VCR was a rip-off of New Year even. All The Go Find's work has the same pattern of beats and chords to fit the singer's voice.

@laurabradley94 @laurabradley94 Though they have the same chord progression in the beginning of the song, I hope you would see past that and see that unlike VCR, this song has a separate chord pattern for the chorus, faster tempo, more instruments, solos, etc. This song has more off-beat use and more than 2 chords like in VCR. Not to mention this song is so much longer as well. It's just not fair to say. That's like saying all techno songs are copied off of one original 4/4 time electronic song.
