very beautiful lyrically, mia wrote this as a tribute to her friend stefanie sargent. (7 year bitch)  they were playing in some water around seattle and kept getting caught in the seaweed, mia incorporates this memorable time with stefanie's addiction and personal troubles, and "wraps" it in a metaphor of being trapped and released by the seaweed they played in...  in the end stefanie is finally released by the seaweed, as being released from her troubles in life by sudden death.  amazing song.

she was an amazing singer, and they were truly a band of brothers... and sister... the documentary showed the amazing love and respect these guys have for each other... they are still haunted by her murder... to hear them discuss it, is like it happened yesterday..

i was watchin the investigators cold case files type deal n heard some of their music on the show. its a weird way to discover a band but they were pretty badass n im not even gonna lie i can b marginally sexist when it comes to singers in bands but this girls voice is pretty raw. too bad that sick fuck killed mia n her sound.

@djshiva Its not that it needs to be proven to me. I'm a proud woman. But its a fact that we live in a society the represses women. And there have been far more male rock singers than female. It is an obstacle. Don't take my comment the wrong way.
