This is better than CCR. Baby boomers need to fuck off and die already.

Screaming conveys the message a lot better.

I have to admit I love this song and the band covering it but it would be sooo much better with out the screaming and just something else but it was still a good cover song

To everyone that hates this, when a band covers a song they take the original and make it more of their musical styles. So if you don't want to hear it sound like the rest of TGI's music, than don't listen to their version of it. That goes for all the covers on this album

Gotta say,I love the original version, but this one is more my type of music.

Man this is terrible. The instruments are pretty good, but that screaming is just not fitting for the song, both subjectively and objectively.

My only problem with this song is how it fades out. I HATE when songs do this. It just gets on my nerves! And sounds pretty lazy IMO!

From a person who loves the original, from growing up with my parents playing tunes like this, I have this to say. My father and mother dig the CCR version, I like that one too. TGI is one of my favorite bands. I showed both of them this and all they said was " this is good". From old heads that don't know this music they gave their "good word". Point blank, this song is a song, who sings it or the style they play it in, the lyrics stay the same. So whether or not you like it is up to you, but still the words ring true.

This is the only cover on the album that did the original justice.

I think this version conveys the angry message of the song better than other versions....not that the original was bad, I love the original. I think this is one of the better versions of it.
