Hate this cover. Robert Smith intended for the song to be poignant and even a bit claustrophobic. The original feels so raw and this one feels like it's been run through the machinations of pop music,with no shortage in the addition of teenage angst. The subject matter even, seems to shift from The fear of death to the fear of breaking up. Hopefully I'll live the rest of my life and never hear this song again.
