i would prefer this song if it stopped trying to force it down my throat that its metal with a twistthe drums were simply awful in this, way too harsh, and the video with them playing looked ridicules because there moshing to a metal tune that is completely different to what there really playing??i do like the theme thou, the lyrics are great and blend in well with the roots of the tune.I do like this twist, and i do admit this is best song I've come across by Gentle Storm however metal can leave a sower taste to music lovers if it begs:'we sound like a heavy metal band, we have the awesome double bass drum kicking in everywhere, but we are mixing it with very minimal characteristics of other music genres, just to appear original... when really just not, just have a song that could sound like a ridicules mess'Luckily this song isn't too bad, however other songs by Gentle Storm do, and there a way more bands out there that venture into this weak bizarre zone of Metalyou should ask yourself, if the metal was taking away, would the song stand its own.I would say Heart of Amsterdam would, and would actually sound better, however thats besides the pointin the end, i guess its not my taste, i can see why people may get a crack at itbut to me it just doesn't seem right altogether :-/
