Sympathy, this is my best disguise.

My skin stepped out for my bones to dry up,

for the rest of the world outside...to see.

You see I bleed on the side

It's a part time thing, a private affair

I try to keep it out of the light.

I must confess, I didn't recognize you tonight

Dressed up like my love.

And I hate these things but I always attend,

a little sip of something to take off the edge.

And I make my way through the ghosts in the room,

trying to crack a smile.

And who you supposed to be?

You look like heaven tonight

And me I'm a tomb, a corpse in a suit,

trying to look a little alive.

Are you alright?

I worry sometimes,

are you dressed up to take my life?

Keep it coming, keep it coming.

And I think I saw you for the flash of a moment,

Your broken heart and the body that holds it

I lost your scent in the flash of the party.

The big bright lights, baby, constantly haunt me.

I've never been right, have you ever been lied to?

I think I just saw the same scars upon you.

But is this a disguise? A masquerade for me?

Keep it coming, keep it coming.

And who you supposed to be?

Hey you look just like my love.

And who you supposed to be?

Are you dressed just like my love?

And who you supposed to be?

Hey you look just like my love.

And who you supposed to be?

Are you dressed just like my love for Halloween?

Well you're ignorant. Tim Armstrong has written much more music than with his band Rancid...his solo album "A Poets Life" is awesome and on his website timtimebomb. com he releases a new song everyday and they're always killer...country/reggae/soul/blues/garage/punk/bluegrass there's all sorts of songs on there. He is a very talented musician. And what do his clothes have to do with anything? Who cares what he wears haha it wouldn't matter if he wore a pink dress everyday.

There's so many Easter eggs from so many artists. I like it. "...or are you glowing like the metal on the edge of the knife" "Senor and the Queen" "We were glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife"--"Paradise by Dashboard Light" by Meat Loaf "In the night I wake up with the sheets soaking wet, it's a pretty good song, baby, you know the rest"--"High Lonesome" "At night I wake up with the sheets soaking wet, and a freight train runnin through the middle of my head"--"I'm on Fire" by the Boss

It is on the 7" holiday release for '45 Club' members, so it already is recorded and released, just not publicly.

Funny you should mention that, never listened to counting crowes so youtubed 'round here' and found some similar lyrics, obviously influenced by counting crowes. "Maria came from Nashville with a suitcase in her hand, She said she'd like to meet a boy who looks like Elvis" Round Here "And Maria came from Nashville with a suitcase in her hand, I always kinda sorta wished I looked like Elvis" High Lonesome

Can you imagine if Brian Fallon and Tim Armstrong wrote a song together...it would probably be the greatest song of all time haha.

Live from Terminal 5 in New York. It was streamed live online and on certain television service providers. This is from the second of three nights at Terminal 5. I watched this on tv and drove up to the city the next day to catch last show. So worth it.
