Carl Cox is a legend. If you're being endorsed by a pioneer, then your brand and engineering department is doing something superb.

For sync haters, are you going to say F1 racers are sh*tty drivers since they drive F1 cars which automatically shift once shift paddles pressed?? (F1 drivers only use their clutch paddles for launch)With new technologies like NI introduces, people can go further. I DON'T say knowing how to beatmatch is not important. It is crucial. However, once you know how to beatmatch to a certain level, turning on sync is perfectly OK if you can make much more creative transitions and live remixes (making sure beats are truly in sync, is 'of course')If you still hate 'the sync' that much, why not playing all the 'instrument' live to let people hear the track rather than just pressing the 'play button'?Why not arguing that producers stop using DAWs that make perfect beat sync and go back to make all their beats with drum machine recorded playing it live?

I don't know whether this really showed him doing anything with it? Just sounded like a track playing to me. They should have compared it to the original track, perhaps.

That hashtag is pretentious. I guess it's a Traktor thing.

this is what I have been waiting for all my life, been mixing since about 86, but things get boring mix wise, and as Carl says its all in one now and that's the key instead of multiple devices etc, I went straight from vinyl and the old resound sampler straight over to controllers, I just got priced out with CDJs and controllers offer more, although if you are not a big name you would be lucky to have space in the DJ booth for controllersim, so the s8 hopefully now that its being championed by carl and others, I will be more accepted, always been too a head of my own game and beyond my dj acquaintances, quite a lonely world if it was not for my wicked playlists/sets ,I kind of dreamed about this stuff when I was only a kid believe it or not.but the future is here and now I seen the future. no excuse to play the same ole same, better for standing out and making your mark, so many genre from old skool in the 80's into todays sounds, yet not enough is done to blend old and new yet make it sound current these days. so for me happy days now.Got a maschine studio last month and the s8 the other day after a small Lucky windfall as they say so adding in a maschine studio via midi to the s8 will make it ultimate, time for it all to come together, like I say at last my future has arrived, carl has the same passion and outlook and that's a quality all you newbies need to follow, do your own thang, dig deep with your music and practice until you give yourself the goose bumps when you play, that's the passion that has kept me going all these years, never give up on your dreams, if this is your thing go for it, and let it all flow.
