I like how the Four Seasons covered the songs that the Diamonds covered (Why Do Fools Fall In Love, Little Darlin, Carol). I like to think that the Four Seasons liked the diamonds. Sorry for being weird and not making sense, if I don't. pancakes.

From memory or from a history book... You must tell the true story (sorry, but I don't speak english). These songs were a great hits in Chile, between 1956 and 1965. Now, frecuently, are playing by the radio. I knew Paul Anka, Neil Sedaka and Johnny Tillotson when they arrived to my country. I spoke with them and I have photos with each one (1993, 1994, 1995). Before, 1961, I knew Brenda Lee and Frankie Avalon, when they were very young. Actually, frecuently, I have contact with Carl Dobkins Jr.

Not significant, really. I was referencing this from memory, not from a history book. Most of Sedaka's hits were recorded between 1960 and 1963, until he had a "second wind" in the mid-1970's, when he wrote the #1 song of 1975, "Love Will Keep Us Together," recorded by The Captain & Teneille. Sedaka-Greenfield wrote many hit songs together in the late 50's and early 60's. They were one of a number of the legendary songwriting teams to be labelled the "Brill Building" sound.

"Oh, Carol", was recorded in 1959, a great hit the same year. All my love from Chile. Neil Sedaka wrote the music (tunes), the lyric was wrote by Howard Greenfield. Youtube search DISCO 45 MANUEL VARGAS inspirated at 50's songs.

Written by Neil Sedaka for Carole King who was at the time married to Gerry Goffin (and her co-writer). Was a top ten song by Mr. Sedaka in 1960.

New York put out so many gems from this time period.... Beyond listing...... Mr. Sedaka wrote such a good song- you can tell the Seasons really enjoyed singing it!
