I graduated High School the year this came song came out. To me, the 50's music will always be my favorite.I like the 40's thru the 70's.

It's great that so many young people like these old songs more than the junk today. What's missing today rhythm has taken the place of melody. And multi-channel recording has also ruined music. This song was probably recorded with four or five mic and, of course, mixed in one-channel. The result is a clear sound.

The only hope is that artists such as Harry Conick, Micahel Buble dabble a bit in older songs...But just on the surface. There are SO MANY old standards and artists to explore: Eddie Fisher, Perry Como, Andy Williams, Patti Page, Joni James, Kay Starr, Doris Day, McGuire Sisters, all the "4s" Groups: Aces, Esquires, Freshmen, Coins, etc.

It's scary that so much older music is being forgotten today, doesn't bode well for the future at all. Too many people are only interested in the present.

Early 50s to mid 50s music unfortunately is slowly being forgotten...I LOVE IT even though I missed out on that era being born in 1962. Another era of music that is now forgotten is early 70s...Bread, Carpenters, Helen Reddy, etc. But my fave is still 1949 - 1956!

I wish the Four Aces postings got more comments, it's a shame that some of the greatest singers and groups from pre-rock and roll music are the most forgotten.

It's a good one! I have it on a VERY scratchy 45 but I don't play it on account that I'll ruin my stylus....I noticed that no one has posted it on You Tube...anywhere! Thanks anyway...I'm sure it will turn up one of these days :-)

This song written by Russ Morgan was the Russ Morgan Orchestra closing theme songs for awhile in the fifties.
