ANY OLD TIME (YOUŔE LONELY AND SAD) tretí hit skupiny THE FOUNDATIONS, ktorý bol v rebríčku dva týždne od 1. mája 1968 a skončil na 48.m.kým na vrchole bola pieseň What A Wonderful World/Cabaret od Louis Armstrong Orchestra and Chorus.Výhradnými autormi soulovej skupiny z Londýna boli MacAuley a MacLeod.Výsledkom ich tvorivej činnosti boli Baby Now That I´ve Found You zásluhou, ktorého sa Foundations stali prvou skupinou na vrchole rebríčka, ktorú tvorili hudobníci narodení okrem UK na ostrovoch Trinidad,Barbados, Jamaica a,Ceylon dnes Sri Lanka V roku 1968 sa po Clemovi Curtisovi z Trinidadu stal spevákom Colin Young z Barbadosu.Z Ceylonu pochádzal Tony Gomez a z Jamaici Pat Burke a Mike Elliott tenorsaxofony a z Dominiky Eric Allendale trombon.

I enjoyed the slide show. Thanks for that. Great idea to have this to gaze at while listening to this song. Be nice to have em in a collection. "I think that Any Old Time" is one of their best songs. Its a pity that it didn't get to be a bigger hit. I suppose that the public back then were expecting a more up tempo song from the Foundations. I do prefer it to "Back On My Feet Again". I've never heard them do a true live version of this song. Be nice to hear one.
