Lots of nice memories for me this one as i use to remember my late parents always listening to the broadcasts from the pirate radio station "radio Caroline" who use to broadcast pop music from their ship, to the shores of England while out there off the Essex coast, but in international waters, and this song was one of the radio's theme tunes and all this was before we had radio 1 here in this country. "HAPPY DAYS"

This song always gave me chills whenever I played it, ever since listening to the clip where jocks were rushing away from the sinking Mi Amigo after the brief announcement was made. :(

Saw Glens sister Dorothy today and she confirmed that he had lost a leg through smoking.  Glen or Dickie Garforth as i knew him is 75 now and lives in Sheffield.  All the best Dickie, Dorothy has my number so give Ann and me a ring, it would be lovely to speak to you again.  What is it now 50 plus years since you left Newtown to make your fortune ?

Hey pleased you liked this one, and yeah it's a great tune and also a great period in music history, if it was not for the pirate ship Caroline and all the DJ's on there, we would not of had radio 1 here in the UK, hmm not that that they play much good music on there these days anyway lol...
